Search by delivery address

How it works

deliveredto: followed by an address finds messages delivered to that address. Google lists it separately from to:, which suggests it concerns delivery rather than the displayed "To" field.

Examples

• deliveredto:username@example.comOpen in Gmail ↗

  Messages delivered to this address.

What it does well

• One more operator for when to: isn't enough to isolate the right address.

What it does badly

• The help page gives one sentence and one example: it doesn't explain the exact difference with to:, nor the cases (aliases, forwarding) where it matters. Not documented by Google · Gmail Help: search operators
